On Thursday, President William Ruto sparked enthusiasm by starting the renowned WRC Safari Rally, demonstrating Kenya’s dedication to hosting top-tier athletic events.

The eagerly anticipated 2023 WRC Safari Rally will feature high-adrenaline action where ultimate speed and precision will rule. The spectacular action of the WRC Safari Rally will once again be experienced by the world in Naivasha alongside Kenyans. With its nature preserves, flower farms, five-star hotels, and tourist attractions, Naivasha is renowned for being a lively and enjoyable destination.

However, the Moi-South Lake route in Naivasha has been declared a no-party zone by the rally’s organizers. To avoid traffic congestion and insecurity, they also outlawed hawking along the highways that the rally vehicles will use in collaboration with the Nakuru County government.

Due to the large number of fans in the town over the last two events, traffic on the route and the Naivasha-Mai Mahiu road was disrupted for hours. Participants in the race took part in the Kasarani Super Special Stage and Ceremonial Start on Thursday.
