Liverpool defeated Bologna 2-0 in the UEFA Champions League to maintain a perfect record.

Alexis MacAllister opened the scoring in his Champions League debut. The second goal was scored by Mohammed Salah, who scored his sixth goal of the campaign to continue his impressive performance under slot. Salah also became the all-time African top scorer in the Champions League with 45 goals, passing Didier Drogba, who has 44 Champions League goals under his name. Samuel Etoo is the closest, in third place with 30 goals.

Arne Slot, the Liverpool manager, was happy with the performance of his team.”It was a good one because it was a win. It wasn’t an easy one, but that’s normal if you play Champions League; there is always a lot of resistance and a lot of good teams play.” He said.

Liverpool will hope to continue their impressive performance in the Premier League, where they are currently leading the table.
